I stole this from the advertising/design goodness - advertising and design blog by Freddy. Just so cool. I am envious of creative minds that can take something as banal as highlighter pens and create an ad that's just so damn CLEVER. I love it, and I wish I could come up with similarly brilliant things. I love the concept and I love the fold/paperclip aging effects they have used on the paper.

The word on the street is that there is going to be some fascinating design and advertising stuff coming out of the Subcontinent, starting in the next couple of years.

India is one of the fastest growing economies on Earth, it has an exploding middle class and global digital communication (aka that thar intarwebb) means that cultural elements are spreading across national and cultural boundaries like never before.

And to which India has its own deep and rich history of design and design elements to draw from. Paisley may be the name of a town in Scotland famous for weaving, but the pattern was brought there by the East India Company.

Anyways, enough spontaneous rant from me.
